Queen's became the first university on the island of Ireland and the second in the UK to receive this prestigious recognition for our sustained commitment to advancing gender equality.

The event brought together over 400 members of the Queen’s community including students, staff, alumni and partners.  We were honoured to be joined by the First Minister and deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland and the day also featured powerful student and staff contributions, artistic performances and thought-provoking discussions on equity, leadership and opportunity.

As we reflect on this milestone, we remain dedicated to driving positive change and building on this success to advance gender equality across the University and beyond.
